Abstract

Michael Gunn, 20, of Auburn, on Friday pleaded innocent in Lewiston District Court to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Gunn is accused of selling to a minor the .38-caliber revolver that was used in the accidental shooting death of 15-year old Shanna Papworth of Auburn. He said he warned 14-year-old Lucas Murphy that the weapon was defective.
