Abstract

The University of Maine at Orono yesterday named three finalists for the athletic director position vacated by Mike Ploszek, who resigned in April after a year of controversy and player-eligibility problems. James Worley of the University of Texas at Austin, John McDonald of the University of Denver and Doug Woolard of Washington State University will undergo on-campus interviews beginning in mid-September.
