Abstract

Wholesale Depot of Massachusetts yesterday announced that it is closing all nine of its New England club stores, including stores in Auburn, Augusta and Bangor. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this year, but an inability to raise sufficient cash to pay creditors resulted in a Thursday order from a federal bankruptcy court judge to liquidate.
