Abstract

Paul Rollins, 42, of York, on Friday was driving to a fishing camp in northern Maine when a tractor-trailer ahead of him crashed through a guardrail on Interstate 295 in Portland. The cab of the truck ended up in the Fore River, and the two men who managed to get out of the cab were fighting the current. Rollins had a 50- to 60-foot length of tow rope in the back of his truck, which he used to help rescue the two men in the truck. Details.
