Abstract

James J. Tracey Jr., the Republican candidate for House District 24, has had his rape trial rescheduled to November 14. Tracey, 26, is accused of raping an 18-year-old woman in Providence, R.I., in March 1992. Both Tracey and the woman were students at the University of Maine at Orono at the time, and were in the city to see a hockey tournament.
