Abstract

Maine Senate President and First District congressional candidate Dennis Dutremble is criticizing Republican opponent James Longley Jr. for signing a Republican Party pledge that supports reinstatement of a ban on abortion counseling by federally funded clinics. Longley said he was unaware that the "gag rule" was part of the "Contract with America," and is not sure if he supports the rule. Details.
