Greater Portland-area restaurant menus from a 67 diners, restaurants, and cafés- most of which were collected between 1982 and 1989 by student workers at Portland Public Library. The digital scans were made by the Library from the vintage/original printed menus.
The Baker's Table
1982 Menu from The Baker's Table, 434 Fore Street. The Baker's Table opened for business in 1980, and closed in 1997.

The Office Pub
1982 Menu from The Office Pub, which was in the ground floor arcade of the Chapman Building (477 Congress Street). The building was later known as the "Time and Temperature Building."

The Pagoda Chinese Restaurant
1982 Menu from The Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, 633 Congress Street (opposite Park Street). The popular Chinese restaurant, owned by the Henry Wong family, was in business at this location from 1940-1985. In 1986, the Pagoda re-opened at 5 Forest Avenue, and was in business until closing in 1992.
